A simple and lightweight Python CLI tool to pad/add borders, square and resize images.
When editing images, I often need to frame the images with white borders to a square format.
The apps I have tried were tedious to use, and some compressed images so aggressively that all detail in the image was lost. I wanted a private tool that integrated directly into my workflow, that could frame images, preserve image quality, and could run immediately after exporting images from my editor. That is why I have put together this small CLI tool that simplifies the process of adding borders to all images in a folder.
I have been using the tool over the past two years with great success.
